The House of Awesome is a lovely large house in Epping, shared amongst a bunch of easygoing, friendly, awesome people.
We are seeking a new awesome housemate to share our home and good times.
We are: 3 guys, 1 girl, age range from late 20's to 30's.
Every second weekend we have a bonus 7yr old staying with us (upstairs), who is generally very well behaved and entertaining.
We are all fairly relaxed people who love a good laugh and a chat.
The atmosphere is fun but still quiet enough to enjoy your own space if and when you choose.
We'd love someone to stay with us longer term, although we are able to accomodate shorter term stays for travellers or similar.
We are a non-smoking household. In general, we expect our housemates to respect others in the house and their property, including keeping the common areas clean... common sense stuff, really.
We have zero tolerance for drugs and other illegal activites, violence, racism, sexism, and other anti-social behaviour.
The house:
* Modern kitchen with gas cooking and dishwasher - all appliances, crockery, cutlery etc. available for use
* Large common areas, lounge room with pool table, dining room etc. all comfortably furnished
* Big backyard with BBQ
* Storage space available in shed
* Shared use of our laundry, including washing machine and both indoor and outdoor clothes drying space
* Quiet yet convenient location, green leafy street within 10-15min walk to Epping shops/Coles/cafes, 15min walk to Epping station, 5min walk to bus stop for access to Macquarie Uni etc.
The room:
* 3.3mx3.3m plus large built in wardrobe, lots of natural light through big window, polished floorboards
* Available furnished (with basic comfortable double bed + bedding) or unfurnished - whichever suits best (weekly rent amount remains the same). NOTE: Room photo shows previous tenant's furniture arrangement, currently the room is empty.
* Located upstairs, sharing bathroom (inc big bathtub) with 2 other housemates.
* Weekly rent of $190 (plus bond of $380) includes all household bills and unlimited ADSL2+ internet
* Available for single person only (to keep in line with lease conditions and prevent overcrowding)
